The caves includes a tunnel about eight feet long, five feet high, three feet wide that leads to a circular chamber about twenty feet in diameter.

She is a different lady from other British ladies. Her decency gives her an important place in the novel. She is sensitive and bold.she is a symbol of all that is decent in western culture: she has liberal views.

The character of  Godbole? 
He is a professor in Chandrapore, he has a mysterious personality and represents Hinduism in the novel.

What is the intention of the writer by passage to India? 
By this  Forster wants to describe the history of India. He wants to show the racial, tension, political unrest, and differences in religion. He tries to connect the link (passage) between Indian and Britain.

Does Fielding want  Miss Quested hand in marriage? 
No, he does not want to marry Miss. Adela Quested. He considers her that she is a  pathetic product of Western education.

Describe the Forster depiction of the English women? 
The English women are found of racism and they were cruel in their treatment of  Indians. English women are portrayed as harsher than their husbands. Among them, Mrs. Moore and Adela Quested are very kind companion.
