How can we say She Stoops to Conquer a Comedy of Manners? 
It is a Comedy of manners where society is targeted by the authors by using different tools of satirization. In the comedy of manners, we have seen society and elite class whom the only goal is to wear the veil of vanity and to show which is not true. But this play gives us the true mirror of society.

Describe the various views on the fashion of Mr. and Mrs. Hardcastle?
Mr.Hardcastle loves everything about fashion if it is old . He likes everything which is old, old friends, old books, old vine, old military while her wife hates whatever old she sees.


Describe the character of Mr. Hardcastle?
He is an old-fashioned man. He likes everything which is old, old friends, old vines, old books etc.

Describe the reception Scene by Mr. Hardcastle.
When Marlow and Hastings come to the place of Mr.Hardcastle, they get a grand reception by Hardcastle. He is very frank and acted as a friend and provide a comfort zone.


What is the importance of Tony Lumpkin?
He is the person who performs as a fool. He makes different jokes on different characters and provides us a comedy of manners.

Compare the contender in this play? 
Marlow and Hastings are both different in their ways. Hastings is more loving, attractive and colorful person. While, Marlow is honest, sincere and odd around the women.

How is Tony Lumpkin is an important person in play? 
He plays an important part in the play and provides us various situations. It is Tony who tells a lie to Marlow and Hastings that ensures them that the residence of Kate's family is an inn. He provides the play an important theme of truth and falsehood.

It was written before Victorian age. It is a great comedy and still has influence in this modern age. The whole structure of the play is amusing and understandable.

Yes, It has some romantic scenes where foolishness of young characters can be seen.

What was Mrs. Hardcastle's complaint with Mr.Hardcastle? 
The only complaint she did is that, They did not travel to town. She needs to visit town but refused her visit by her husband.
