George Bernard Shaw 

He was born in 1856 in Dublin, Ireland.
He died in 1950 in Ayot St Lawrence, Hertfordshire, England.
His father name was George Carr Shaw.
His father was a civil servant.
His mother's name was Lucinda Elizabeth Shaw.
She was a talented signer. He was taught first at home by a governess and his uncle.
Then he was sent to the Dublin Wesleyan connexional school.
In 1869, he was transferred to the Central. Model Boys' school in Dublin.
He also joined Wesley College, Dublin
He was an Irish playwright, critic and political activist.
He was a famous dramatist and wrote more than 60 plays.
He was also novel writer and short story writer and an essayist.
He worked as an estate agent's office.
He began his literary career as a novelist.
He married Charlotte Payne-Townshend in 1898.
He has distinction of winning two great awards; Nobel Prize in Literature in 1925 and an Oscar Award in 1938.
He was an ardent advocate of the new theatre of Ibsen.
